TGIF!!!!

Jaci the Raving Housewife has TAGGED me... I was running as fast as I could but I tripped on a speed bump (cause I was going to fast) and I fell... and she got me.

SO... 6 Random, Weird, and Unspectacular Things About Me

1. I adore plaid. ADORE it. You put me in a room full of stuff, and if one thing is plaid, I WILL bee-line for it. There's a store around here, they have PLAID LAPTOP BAGS.. OH my gosh... yes Lord, I lust. I admit it.

2. I was born a month and five days late. My mom's due date was January 1st. My birthday is February 5th. No, she did not mis-calculate. I was 10 pounds, 5 oz, 23.5 inches long (they had to put in in an incubator diagonally to make me fit. At one day old they put me on my tummy and I raised my head up and looked around. I slept through the night the first night we were home from the hospital. My dad always jokes that I was born a first-grader.

3. I also adore Football (if I had a team they would SO have a nice masculine plaid on their uniforms). I am BEYOND excited that it's Football season again. I do not like that I don't get the NFL channel anymore.

4. I can't STAND to listen to people chew. Especially crunchy things. Especially people with echoey heads eating crunchy things. Especially my soon-to-be-ex.

5. In high school I had a short story published in "The High School Reader of the Midwest"... oooo... I still have a copy and I read it a couple years ago. My GOD how cheesy.

6. I can name all the states in Alphabetical order in less than 20 seconds in one breath.

Oops - I'm adding a 7th.
7. I HAVE decided to read Twilight and all that - EVENTUALLY. One of my whimsies is to read books with Mr. B - taking turns reading chapters or reading to him in the car while he drives. So, I'm going to save Edward and Bella for when Mr. B and I can be together. Okay?

Now I'm supposed to tag people. Why is this part so hard??? I always feel like I might be leaving someone out or hurting someones feelings. SO here's what we're going to do. If the second letter of your REAL name is a vowel, consider yourself tagged. :)

OMgosh! I was a month late too! Guess they didn't induce back then! My mom was also at a cheese and wine tasting in New Orlean's French Quarter when she finally went into labor! Guess it was all about moderation back then too!

Good way to tag! Creative!

OH. MY. GOSH!
No one has ever believed me that I was born an entire month late... and now you have me beat!
But the craziest part?!
I was supposed to be born January 1st, too!!!
I came out Jan. 31st, only when my mom was induced because I was using up all of my amniotic fluids. 21 inches. 9 lbs 2 oz. HOORAY FOR BIG HAPPY BABIES!

p.s. I believe I was just tagged... in a very round about sort of way. Like choosing "anyone with white socks" for your kickball team. It's cool, I will step up to the challenge:)

Born a first grader? LOL, that's funny!!

Be warned while reading Twilight, you will either love it or hate it. I had to read it to see what the fuss was about and honestly thought it was awful. And then I trudged through the rest of the series only to find it got progressively worse. The final book has the worse reviews on Amazon.com....from people who LOVED it. To me that speaks volumes. But read and judge for yourself, I am curious as to what you and Mr. B will think.

As for being tagged...ha-ha, done!

People chewing with "echoey" heads. My husband drives me crazy with this. When he eats chips you can hear him two counties away!! My little guy has the same issue too and it drives my oldest son crazy.

LOL I am laughing if the second letter of our real name is a VOWEL! YOU are tooo funny! I read Twilight....I had to be nosy and find out what the rage was! Keep in MIND that it is written for teens. OOOK I have a GREAT SERIES that I love OUTLANDER series...THOSE books are WAY LONG though and there is so much detail but I love them and have read chapters to my Husband.

O yeah and our car line...maybe up in Atlanta it will not be as bad...here we are still sort of rural.

Wow, a month late?! That's wild! A genius from day one. :-)

And totally impressive about the states naming. I can't even name them all, in random order, in 10 minutes. Yikes.

I was born a month early! I'm sure the fact that there were 2 of us in there had something to do with it, lol! I weighed 4lbs 10oz and my grandma said she cooked roasts bigger than me!! I think that is hillarious!!

The second letter of my real name is a vowel, so "tagged, I'm it!"

Oy, the chewing noises!!!! UGH! I am SO going through that right now with 2 out of 3 kids LOL And the oldest is as bugged out by it as I am so one or the other of us is always asking J mainly WHY do you have to make so much noise when you eat???? I've threatened to make him eat in the garage if he can't learn a quieter method. My only hope is that N went through the same stage and he's outgrown it and come to find it as disgusting as anyone else does so I'm just hoping J grows out of it FAST!! Maybe he has that echoey head problem too...hadn't considered that LOL

I was a month late too! I weighed about 9 1/2 lbs. and had so many rolls, it took two people to diaper me...(my parents told me that).

My husband is a slow deliberate chewer. We joke that he is part goat because he can make jello crunchy when he chews.
