Ask, and ye shall get the answer...

Okay... so I asked for questions and you answered!! So let's get it started.... I think I'm going to divide them up into two post - so this one will be the "everyday life" one, and tomorrow we'll talk all things Mr. B and such.

Susie started things off a little cheeky, she asked "What color is the sky in your world?"
Plaid... obviously.

My gal-pal Kori hit me with these:

Sexy, thong or granny panties? (I know this one made you cackle.)
I did cackle... totally sexy thongs... all the way. Never goin back to those granny panties!

Favorite color?
Plaid

Favorite food?
Chicken in any form (well.. not raw... or like still with the head on or something like that.)

Favorite past time?
Blogging!

Favorite Bible Verse?
Romans 8:28 - All things work together for the good of those that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

How much is gas there? (It's $3.55 here)
The lowest I saw on my drive home tonight was 3.60. I saw in in SC this weekend for $3.33!!! And it scares me that I think that's such a deal!!

When are we gonna hook up and go to dinner with our fellas and munchkins?
SOON... very very soon.

How much is that doggie in the window?
Did Essie put you up to this? That doggie is WAY TOO expensive and I KNOW he's cute but we live in an apartment dear and we would have to pay a deposit and you KNOW you aren't going to get up at 6 am with the puppy which means I have to and just.... no.... quit asking.

Migraine Mom asked what is your favorite part about being a single parent? What is the hardest part? Do you think you will ever get married again? Do you want to?
Awesome question. Favorite part? I get to do it my way. I don't have to take into account another adult's opinion about... anything. Hardest part? Being lonely... being the only adult in the house. Will I get married again? I sure hope to, because I want to. I don't like being alone, I'd rather take another adults opinion into account :)

Caro has these ponderings...

**Toilet paper - over the top or under the bottom (no pun intended)?
Honestly, I don't care as long as there IS toilet paper.

**Do you clean house in heels and a dress like June Cleaver?
Not yet.

**If money and practicality was no object, what kind of car would you want?
A Toyota Sequoia. They're pretty and SO comfortable and there would be the opportunity to put great amount of distance between Gert & Essie.

**Mountains or beach? I do know where you live, I just wanted to see where your loyalty lies!
Mountains. Beach has sand that goes where I don't want it, and beach has strange creatures. I prefer the Mountains on a cool day!

Quirky had quite a list - a couple I'll save for tomorrow, but here's the rest:
3. If you could live in another part of the country (or world) where would it be?
I would LOVE to live in the Sierra Mountains in a log cabin.

4. It's 4pm on a Sunday... what are you doing?
Between late August and early February, most likely watching Football!!!!

5. What is your favorite part of your body?
My head! (I couldn't decide between eyes, lips & hair so....)

6. What is your favorite part of your personality?
Hands DOWN my sense of humor.

7. If you had to eat one food (or culture of food) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Authentic mexican. Not Taco Bell Mexican.

8. Men with back hair... leave it or wax it?
A little hair, eh, I can deal. A lot??? Wax please.

9. Essie and Gert- is it fun having it be just girls? Or do you ever wish you had a brother (I'm not suggesting your mom gets knocked up. I'm just curious how it is to have only girls). They both said it would be nice to have 2 brothers, but then both agreed that only having girls is fun. And then they were attacked by a super taco so I guess that was the end of the discussion.

10. How do you like your eggs?
Basted, very soft.

A new friend, Rene, asked a great question: if you could be another species (i.e., not human), what would you pick and why?
Would it shock anyone if I said a Beaver?? LOL!!!! Honestly, it's an animal I've identified with my whole life, so... I mean, they're industrious, they get to swim all the time and live in a log cabin!!!

MAN! You guys totally rock in the question asking. I think I'm going to have to split this into three days!!!!!!

Please, tell me I was one of the first to ask a question. Cause someone on their blog was doing this and I asked a question and I can't remember who the heck it was. I guess if I didn't ask one, I did now.

Our gas in Maryland just went down to $3.53 & I thought to myself...What a bargain! I need to fill up. Isn't that sad????

I remember when I was in college gas was only 70 cents a gallon for unleaded!!!!! (Yes, I'm old!) I would get 10 gallons for $7 and use the extra $3 for lunch at McDonalds! My how times have changed.

A beaver? Not a duzzy f...

Isn't it absurd that we think THREE AND A HALF BUCKS (yes, I'm yelling) for gas is a bargain?? I feel most for the teens. Remember scraping together five bucks for gas? We could go awhile. Now, they are lucky if they hit the end of the block.

I love you thong answer...I too wear thongs...( my daughter told me to try them and I did and now I do) but...totally weird situation...My Hubby and I were visiting a friend in CA and I was doing laundry at his house and I didn't get to the washing machine before he did and he is pulling my thong out of the washing machine...and then he holds it up and I am cringing and he says...Do you dry this thing or Is it wash and wear? Tee Hee
I love this post...I'll be back!
