Butter Dog

When I went to bed last night I went through the kitchen to turn off the light. I found this little creation on the counter. Apparently it's a dog. All art work courtesy of Essie.

Good thing you got there before it melted into a puddle and you might not have realized the artistic intent of the butter sculpture! That is hilarious!

Art is in many different mediums and true art is in the eye of the beholder! In this case the butter dish!

That is one cool piece of art. Also I loved the pictures of the girls. They are just the cutest. We've got some friends coming to visit this weekend from North Carolina (maybe it's South) either way maybe you should hitch a ride and come visit too. lol

The definitive answer to "What do you get when you go to the MN state fair and cross a pronto pup with a butter sculpture?"

This girl is a true Minnesotan. You must send her back here at once. I'll help her put that on a stick.

I give her an A+ for creativity :)

Of course it's a dog. What else could it be?

My daughter comes home from school with this kind of stuff every week... and we have to save every single one...

Thankfully ours doesn't melt... though it usually is sticky!

Hmmm...wonder what inspired such a creation. I am just thinking about butter on a stick. Or about the pudding I tried to create. I am doing the carb free thing. So, I got some pudding mix - very low carb - and added whipping cream cause that doesn't have carbs like milk does. Well...you know what happens when you whip cream? You get butter. Chocolate flavored butter. Not exactly what I was going for :-)

And what a question - of course you can put me on your blog roll. I'd be honored!
