Happiest of Birthday's to my friend Dawn. I love birthdays and so for her I will perform a special birthday poem.
Roses are Red
Spots on a Fawn
Did you wake up on your birthday
At the Butt Crack of Dawn??
Roses are Red
Astronauts drink tang
When do I get a ride
In your fancy new 'Stang?
Roses are Red
Dogs can be stray

My mom just called. Her cousin, Jeanne, had a heart-attack Monday night and passed away. My mom has no brothers or sisters, consequently her cousins were like siblings to her. And Jeanne has been like an aunt to me. She was one of those ladies you'd always find in your church kitchen, making sure everyone has what they need. Quite unsung, but quite treasured and loved. She leaves 5 children, 4 children-in-law and 14 grandchildren and a multitude of siblings and cousins who adored her....
In my mom's family bad things ALWAYS happen in threes. I'm scared.
