Not Too Easy

Because God has a wicked sense of humor.

Mr. B found out a couple weeks ago that he's being laid off at the end of September.

He gets some severance.

But not just a ton.

We're on our knees praying for opportunity.

Please join us.

That is such a bummer. Yeah for severance, boo for being laid off. My hope is that this transition will turn out to be a blessing for you in ways that are unimaginable for you at this time.

prayers galore for you, my friend. There are just some times I realllly don't like His sense of humor....

I don't know how I missed this post...I'm hoping by now maybe something has turned up. I so feel your pain. Joe has been looking for work, for his remodeling business and a "real job" for months now, with no luck. Our savings is dwindling fast, and I do NOT want to go back to work full-time, but that may be unavoidable.

Praying for opportunities for both of our men, every single day.

Oh, these are the times we get to find out what we (or more importantly, God) is made of, aren't they? I believe I'll be hearing similar news come next week.

Man Beth, I do not know why I have missed your last couple of posts. Am I that wrapped up in my own life to not pay attention to others? I am so sorry you have hit this speed bump in life. Prayerfully by now Mr. B. has found a new job and you are all doing well. (My mother always called me Pollyanna) If not, I will be sure to remember prayers for an even better jobs to come to both of you.
