I picked Gert up Friday afternoon and she obviously wasn't feeling well. She's been running a 102-103 fever all weekend. I took her to the dr. this morning and she tested positive for flu AND strep. She's a very sick girl. They did a breathing treatment, and since her pulse ox was high enough, we didn't have to go to the hospital.
I'll post my birthday story as soon as I can. I'm so sorry to leave you hanging....

I hope your baby is better very soon! Be sure to finish all of the strep med even though she will feel better.
Oh poor baby. When I was a senior in HS, I had the flu and strep at the same time. Prolly one of the crappiest times for me. Get better soon little Gert!

But seriously, I hope that sweetie gets to feeling better soon. I just got an email from a friend and she told me to rub the bottoms of my daughter's feet and put socks on her before bed. It's supposed to completely relieve that nasty cough. I'm going to be trying it tonight. I'll let you know the results...:)
