We Did It

I grew up a republican. I voted for Bush.. twice... maybe not such a wise move looking back. At this point I'm not fond of ANYONE running for President - other than ME. For one thing, I look GOOD today - Katie even said when I woke her up that I "looked pretty" and then she wondered aloud if perhaps I was going golfing... LOL. For another thing, I know what I'm about, I know if truly did or did not inhale (HA - wouldn't YOU like to know!)... so I encourage you to just go ahead and write my name in come November.

NOW - the whole point of this blog, however, is to convey my complete pride in our country that we finally managed to have a nominated candidate for president who is NOT a white man. Now, I'm not a big fan of Obama, but that doesn't change the fact that perhaps our country is showing that we finally growing up.
