When I grow up...

Ok... in some life I want to be a historical achitect.

But after the last 2 weeks I realize... in this life I really want to be a teacher.

So there.

Now... what to do about it.

Get your butt to school!

Not sure what kind of programs they have there in Georgia, but when Joe decided to go back, he went through an online course with Indiana Wesleyan and got his teaching certificate in under two years (he already had a Bachelor's in management).

If I went back to school and survived, I KNOW you can do it! You would be AWESOME!

That's so awesome! You have both youth and experience on your side. I've often said it was too bad that I didn't have my parenting experience to bring to my teaching--although I'm awfully thankful that I brought teaching experience to my parenting. I will tell you that you really pay your dues up front in teaching, but you benefit every single year for all of the effort behind you. You'll find your way!

Really?! Go for it, woman!

P.S. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. So... jealous.

GA State has a certification program -- http://education.gsu.edu/oaa/4268.html -- you should apply. Now. :-)

Come do your student teaching with MEEEE! I know you have no interest in 7th graders, but we'd have a BLAST all day! ;)

Don't do it! Hahaha - Just kidding. I'm a teacher and that's my standard advice! :)

Good for you. Go back to school (which, I admit, is a daunting - and expensive - notion). There are some good programs out there. Best of luck to you; I'm sure you'll be great!
