Some days just are like that... even in Australia

I woke up this morning with morning with gum in my hair...

Okay, no I didn't but it hasn't been a red-letter day... I drove 3 hours coming back from a friends house this morning, with enough time to run in the door, change my clothes, and head to an open house at a friends. Well, on the way the car started making this most GOD awful noise, so I detoured to Sears. They said they could look at it but it would be a while and they weren't sure they would have all the parts. Fortunately Sears is next to the biggest mall in town, so I wandered over there to just kill a lot of time, leaving my cell phone number with the car guys so they could call and tell me the news. Well... I went to Hallmark to buy some sappy cards to send to Mr. B and when I got to the register... my debit card wasn't there. Then I remembered when I stopped for gas this morning I had run in to grab a pop and just slipped the card in the pocket of my jeans which were now on the floor of my bedroom. Ok... so.. no food... no shopping for me (which was fine because I don't have any money to spend anyways, especially with car repairs looming), so I had just settled with the idea of just window shopping. Then my phone beeped. Oh, perhaps another love text from Mr. B? No... phone is dying because it didn't get charged last night. SO now I can't wander around the mall because Mr. Car Man can't call me and tell me what's up. I sauntered back over to the Auto Dept, parked my butt in their waiting area, and thank GOD I had brought a book. 4 hours and $500 later, I was back on the road.

Then I got home.. I didn't win the camera.

Then I checked the cupboards... no chocolate and no salty things.

It's 7:43... is that too early to go to bed on a Saturday night?

Oh how I hate days like that!!
The good news... there's no way tomorrow will be so bad. Two days in a row is unheard of :)

Hope your weekend perks up!

It's not too early to go to bed. I can sleep at will. Always tired. Must be the night shift thing.

Oh no!!! Days like that are awful! I'm sorry that happened to you, but ever the optimist, I have to say I'm glad you didn't break down somewhere (especially with no money & phone) and that you were in a safe place. I hope tomorrow is a better day!

That's the kind of day that makes all our "not so good" days look "not so bad" afterall. I hope things start looking up for you tomorrow.

Sorry you had such a rotten day!! I hate days like that. Surely tomorrow will be a better day for you!!

And for the record, after a day like that, 7:43pm is absolutely NOT to early to go to bed!! After all, the sooner a bad day ends... the sooner a new, better day will start!!!

Anybody who had to face that much "bad" one one day shouldn't have anything but sunshine and puppies for about three months! Enjoy!!

Hope that was the last of your bad days for a long time. I'd say you stocked up for a while in that one day!
