Frieity (Get it - Friday+Variety)

First of all - ANOTHER long time friend has joined Blogger!! I seriously need to get some sort of kick-back, don't you think? So, my friend NIK has a blog over here now. I have met HER in person too and she's FABULOUS!!! She's got two boys and they're SO dang cute and she is so devoted to him. She's also FUNNY as all get out. So GO check her out and say hi. And also, thanks to all of you for the love you been showin' my friends... you all SO ROCK!!!

Next - Gert... GERT..... Gert likes to lay in bed at night and just kind of chill before she goes to sleep. Her sister does the same thing and once went to bed with markers... and woke up in the morning with purple all over her and all over her sheets. Fortunately the sheets had a pretty dark pattern and while all the purple never came out, the sheets were still usable. BUT I learned from that lesson and have always told the girls that they can ONLY take colored pencils to bed. So yesterday morning I was getting something out of Gert's bed and saw an orange marker, with no cap on. I thought "Oh little girl you are so lucky that didn't bleed on anything." Then I pull the comforter up and... RIGHT smack dab in the MIDDLE of her WHITE comforter is a HUGE ORANGE BLOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I soaked it and washed it and now it's a peach blob.... I am NOT happy with Miss Gert.

Finally, lots of ladies do the "My Husband Rocks" Friday thing. SO since I don't have a Husband, I'm going to do "My Mr.B Rocks" instead. And today, My Mr. B rocks because he sends me the sweetest text messages that just make my heart go pitter patter.... and while I'm not going to share all of them because some things are just to special to share, here's a few....

The first one requires a little set up. As you know I am blonde and quite often do blonde things. Yesterday Mr. B had an appointment with his sons psychologist to go over some results of some testing that was done recently. About 2:27 yesterday afternoon the phone at work rings, I answer, and it was Mr. B. What he said was "Hey, I'm at the hospital and about to go in, I'll let you know how it goes when we're done." Ok... blonde me processed NONE of that (I think it's because he didn't start off with "Hi Gorgeous" like he usually does so I was thrown), and being the articulate Mensa member I am, I replied with "Hunh?" And so he said it again. I got it, said I loved you and that was the end of the conversation. So later on I sent him a text saying "Sorry about my blonde moment earlier, I just wasn't expecting you to call." And the text I got back - "Sweetheart, I am coming to adore and love your blonde aspects. They are a truly precious part of you." Awwwwww.....

This one speaks for itself - "I really ache for your presence right now. To be able to hold you, to walk hand in hand, to eat a meal together, to curl up with you..... I love you."

And finally this one - "Oh... well, could you ink me in for spending the rest of our lives together? That's what I really want to do."

*Sigh* Mr.B. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Rocks.......
