Gert-isms

Essie doesn't like the word S-E-X... not in any context... and I admit I kind of tease her sometimes with the construction company down the street- SEXton Builders. Friday we were making our way back to our casa, and we went by Sexton Builders. So I said the name a few times and she said "Don't SAY that... if you have to, just say Sexy. You know who is sexy mom? Leonardo DiCaprio." Then Gert pops up in the back seat and says, "Not as sexy as Mr. B!!!!!"


Last night I was sitting at the computer, and Gert came out and said "If Mr. B got down on one knee and asked you to marry him, what would you say?" I said, "Well, what do you think I would say?" She smiled and said "I think you would say Yes." I smile and said "Would that be okay with you?" She did this little half body shiver, half dance, her face lit up and she said, "OH YES! A WHOLE LOT OF OKAYS!!!!!!"
