Starting with Jesse Langseth - singing... something.. I don't know. It was on key much. I was not feeling it (but I wish I had her body that looked like that in a LITTLE black dress like that)... The judges are mixed... Simon says it was indulgent. And... I'm lost because now Simon says the judges are voting them in. So we don't get to have a vote???
Matt Graud is up now. Singing "Who's Loving You" by Jackson 5. He's got a Fedora on and a scarf... and he looks a LOT like the Jimmy Durante character in the animated version of Frosty the Snowman:
He sang a song with one phrase, but seemed to sing it pretty well. The judges liked it. Ryan called him "bro".. cause he's down with the peeps like that.Megans' up after the break. Singing "You're Not the One For Me"...and this is how it went... Swish Swish Swish Swish Swish... HA HA - Paula said her swishing is a quirk!!! Simon wants to marry her. Randy likes her, and Kara likes her.
Von SMith- "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word" - it's ... soft... and pitchey a bit... and... boring.... Simon didn't really get it. Randy agreed with me about the pitchey thing. And they don't like the song choice... apparently it was dark, and we only want happy-go-lucky songs. Paula... has studied Von (stalker) and says when he thinks to hard he looses his style. Wow... Paula actually made sense....
Jasmine is back - she REALLY is one beautiful girl... singing "Reflection"... um...
OH MY GOSH - I just realized that Jasmine is only 7 years older than Essie... ack.
Well, it was okay... a little pitchey. And... average. I think she needs to go home, take some vocal lessons, do some local competitions, and come back when she's 21 or 22... she needs some real living under her belt.
Rickey Bobbby is singing Superstition - He's got on skinny jeans... I'm still having to get used to that on guys... He's rockin' it. He really sang it and showed The Judginators are kinda split. OH Jeez... RANDY - FIND YOUR OWN PHRASE... now HE'S calling stuff self-indulgent... I think the judges are self-indulgent. There.. take THAT!
Oh Lordy... it's Tatianna - She says nobody gets a second chance... except the 7 other people she's with. And she singing "Saving ALl My Love For You" again.. AGAIN... JEEZ.. and she's flat. And dressed in sparkles. And she talks to much and she's confusing the judges. And then.. in the end... there's Ryan... and Tatianna... and a proposition. And that's all I have to say about that.
Anoop is singing "My Prerogative"... he has a little trouble on the lower notes, but he does know how to entertain a crowd. The judges are snickering. They all seem to like him...
And we'll be back with the results.... Ok... Hmmm... I think Matt & Megan & .... Tatianna because they want to torture me.

I just want to moment and thank the Lord that Tatianna didn't go through. I just couldn't take that.
So I'm headed to Altanta this weekend again. The girl's are going to their dads, and Mr. B and I are headed to visit some VERY special friends. So probably no blogging!!

Thank goodness no Crapiana!!! I did check out vote for the worst and they were picking her. They said they are "extremely disappointed" and that she was the "best thing to happen to this show that we can even remember." Wow...that's quite a compliment from the folks who kept Sanjaya in for as long as they did!! That is why I would never go on this show -- besides not wanting to cry in front of Simon, pretend to understand Paula, be embarassed that I'm like 3 feet tall than Ryan, yeah...besides all that -- I would be devastated if VFTW picked me as their poster girl. It would take like 20 gallons of chunky monkey to get over it!!

I have been out of town all week and just couldn't WAIT to read your recap of everything. I just watched all the shows last night and wouldn't you know it, the DVR didn't record the last 5 min. of the wild card results. When you wrote it was between Anoop and Matt I was a little sad, I wanted them both and thought Jasmine needed to be booted from her stool. Thank goodness we got them both.
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you called Ricky Braady Ricky Bobby, cause I did that everytime they said his name. So funny.
