Only one thing on your heart today? Oh you must have linked to my comment about the peppermint bon bon ice cream!!! Oh...what? You want people to be nice to each other??? Here, have some ice cream. (Yes, Bridgeman's. At the Chickadee Cottage in Redwing. Delish! There are only a couple of remaining places to have Bridgeman's.)

In my second grade classroom I always reminded my kids, if you disagree, be kind. Now I just tell my own kids to work it out. But yes, no excuse for personal attacks. No kidding.

Hey, if the Norwegians and Germans can get together and have a diversity fair, there is hope.

So very true. The hubby and I have to be very careful when discussing politics because our views are a tad...ahem...oh, what the heck - LIGHT years apart! So we've stolen this phrase from the movie Elf: "cotton-headed Ninnymuggins". I'd love to hear that on CNN or Fox.

Things definitely get heated. I am never going to go to war like my friend Andy who fought in Fallujah and came home wounded by sniper fire, but I can fight for my country in a different way. I think it is important that we are passionate not about "politicians", but about our Country... freedom, patriotism and a future that is based on the original principals that this Country was founded on. I think that those freedoms are being threatened right now and because of that, I will be in the fight until this election is held. On my knees and on my blog!

I LOVE Politics....even though it makes me very anxious and I will probably end up stroking before the election.....

Newsflash! The Chickadee Cottage is not in Redwing. That was a typo. It's in Lake City.
