First - a request - if you're going to post a story about your parents, siblings, children, friends etc that may, possibly, potentially make me cry PLEASE give a tissue warning. I've been hit by at least 2 blogs every morning this week and I'm not prepared!!! Help a girl with eye makeup out!!!
Second - a funny - 2 nights ago Gert & I were cleaning. We were doing their bathroom, and she wanted to help "fall clean" (her words)... so I gave her a Clorox wipe and told her to go clean the toilet. She wanted to know which part to do, so I told her to lift the seat and wipe around the top of the bowl. She did the "touch as little of the surface as possible" thing and then turned to me and said "I was NOT born for this."
Third - I get to see Mr. B on Sunday!!!!!!!!! Am I excited? um... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been almost 6 weeks since I've seen him and I miss him immensely. Unfortunately our time together will be on the short side, but anything is better than nothing.
Fourth - I get to meet a blogger friend on Sunday!! Kat from Sunshine & Lemonade!!!! We're going out to lunch!!! I get to have lunch with an ADULT!!!!!!! And a fun Liberal one at that!!!!
Fifth - RANT AHEAD - WILL SOMEONE PLEASE FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET SOME GOL DERNED GAS TO WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA?????????????? This is absofreekin' ridiculous. People are waiting in line for HOURS when a station finally gets gas in. I pass 18 gas stations between home and work. ONE had gas this morning... along with a line a half mile long in each direction. This is COMPLETELY crazy!!!!!!!! We're not even going to be able to go to church tonight because I can't use any extra gas....
Sixth - Have I told you all lately how much I just absolutely love you all and how reading your blogs and your comments on mine just makes my heart burst with happiness and how I wish I could win the lottery and rent a cruise ship and do a big bloggie buddy cruise??? No? Hopefully the gas situation will filter through there in the next day. On the way to drop Cowboy off at school yesterday, there were 2 gas stations with gas that ran out (short lines though!) by the time I drove by in the afternoon. Thankfully I was able to fill up. The good news - driving around that afternoon and evening for football, I saw 3 stations WITH gas. ALL SHORT LINES!! I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it filters your way. It had been kind of creepy though!

Yay for getting to see Mr. B! That is crazy about the gas, though. We haven't had any problems and we're in Texas--not where the hurricane hit, but still. (I assume that's the reason your area can't get gas?)

I want a balcony room on the cruise ship!! That is crazy about the gas. Atlanta is having the same problem. I would expect that here where the storms hit, not there! It's scary when you can't buy gas! That's hilarious about Gert's statement! And she's right!! Yay for seeing Mr. B!! Did the girls meet him yet or do they still think he is a stick man?
