The Halloween she was one she was sick... no pics.
First Grandma Made costume - the Cheerleader. Somewhere I have better pics but... this will have to do for now.
Another gap - the next year she was an Amphibian, and I've spent the last 2 hours looking for the picture which I know I JUST saw, but I can't put my hands on it..... when I do.... you'll see it.
Then came Monkestrap from CATS:Which of course was accompanied by her sister the mouse, on her first Halloween. She didn't like the costume though....
And she didn't like it the following year any better. She was scared of the tail:
So instead she was Jessie the Cowgirl - and her Essie was Ariel:
The following year the girls BOTH wanted to be Shamu... someone asked if they were trout....
Then came the start of Gert's Princess run... Essie joined her this year:

Oh my gosh--TOO SWEET!
We love your Julie!
Those are all fabulous costumes. I LOVE the mouse... tail and all.
Don't worry, little mouse. I'm scared of my tail, too. It gets better...
There is only one thing missing... the pics of you in your costume!
I love all the pictures!
I am such a bad mom that before cameras went digital I never took pictures.
It's a good thing Wyatt has been a Power Ranger every year so I can recall the costumes, but I can't remember any of Wens :(
Those are all so cute :D
Quite the talented seamstress. I am envious of the mouse and Shamu costumes. I LOVE KILLER WHALES and Shamu! Need that pattern. I think I would have been scared of my tail too if I were a mouse. Why does that thing follow me everywhere? CREEPY!
I am so mad that someone thought your bit of preciousness (look at how I make up words!) was a trout. When she is clearly Shamu.
Stupid people.
Loved the pics. I love your ladies...they make me smile.
Cute! She was scared of her tail? Makes sense though!
A trout? Please, she looks just like Shamu
Thanks for stopping by! Cute costumes!
A trout? Really? Today I went and had lunch with Madalyn at school. All the second grade teachers dressed up like characters from Charlotte's Web. One was a sheep, one Templeton, one Wilbur, one Charlotte, and another Fern.
One of the mom's didn't get it. She had no idea who Fern was. And couldn't remember much of the story. She'd probably think your kids were trout, too.
TOO CUTE. I love homemade costumes!
Omigosh those are adorable pictures! Snapped me right out of my funk!!!!!
how precious they are
Even I like halloween pics and I am scared of kids!
OMG what AWESOME costumes! Every single one! How lucky you are to have such cute little girls and a talented friend to make those costumes!
A trout? Was it a weird redneck guy sitting on his porch with a Wal-Mart bag of candy tossed on the front steps, downing cans of Bud and wearing a red and black checked flannel? Oh, nevermind....I forgot you don't live in my neighborhood...
Happy Halloween!
The Shamu trout costumes made me chuckle. Your Julie has some talent in her little fingers. I think Jessie the cowgirl was the cutest.
TROUT?!? Love ALL these snaps, but have a special place in my heart for the Sad Little Mouse. Have a Happy!
Oh my god , Lizzie ...the Shamu 'hat' cracked me Up!!

All of those costumes are so cute and clever! The poor crying mouse broke my heart though. :) Love the Elvis one, looks like she may have a future as an impersonator!
