MISSING

So last night I was pondering my next blog post. See - I'm trying to get back into the swing of it! I thought about either recapping So You Think You Can Dance or telling you about my new job. But I really wanted to draw pictures for both of those. Cause it's been a LONG time since I sharpied, and I DO love doing it. (Are you new to my blog? If you are and are lost about the sharpies - check this out... and this)
So I set out to find my sharpies.

I went to the marker box in my closet, pulled it down and opened it up. Hmmm... no sharpies.

I checked the unpacked box by the computer. No sharpies.

Kitchen drawer? No.

Ummm... bedroom closet??? No....

Have I mentioned we live in a REALLY small apartment? Well... we do... and the above listed search places pretty much totals a complete home investigation.

I sat down on my couch... thinking thinking thinking....

(crickets chirp)

It would seem that in The Great Move of 09, my sharpies have been.....

Misplaced.

Lost.

Kidnapped.

Okay... I don't have proof of the last one, but it doesn't SEEM that far out of reach.

So now I must replace the sharpies... there are too many exciting things coming up that MUST be captured in sharpie. (Right EE ladies??????)

So the question is... do I buy the pack?

Or... do I go to the alter?

(My heart is starting to flutter just LOOKING at that picture)(Does Office Depot have a wedding registry??? Cause if they do, when the time comes, I'm going for one of everything)

No sharpies? What's really tragic is that it took you this long to miss them! I'd just go for the pack. It would be worth it to eliminate the need for Office Depot, just yet. :-)

Well, duh. The pack has everything you need at a better price. And if you find you actually NEED a mango Sharpie then you go to the altar.

Definitely the altar. The mecca of Sharpies. You must go.

I can't wait to see all the EE girls portrayed in Lizzy's famous stick person form!

Oh I had forgotten about the possibility of the EE weekend being captured in sharpies. And I think you need a pack. A really big pack. I am actually going to office depot tomorrow...maybe I need a pack too since my children are the cause of my missing sharpies. Could a similar event have happened at your house??

Honest to blog, I am an office supply junkie. I LOVE pens and pads and clips, oh my. I used to do all the ordering for my office and let me tell you, it was an orgy.

I would go to the altar. All the way, baby.

HMMM tough question but I think get the pack and pick a few from the altar! Michaels carries those small ones on a key chain too. YOU need one of those.

Send me your address, and I'll send you some...sorta like a house-warming gift? The blogosphere is a smaller place w/o Hot Tub Lizzy's Sharpie Creations...

I totally expected my sister to tell you to go to the alter, because we all know she has been known to have had an affair with Sharpies in the past.....

and girl, this just cracks me up!

I have missed you and your drawings.

Lizzy, you must, I repeat MUST go look at the above link. You will not regret it, I promise.
Trust me, I have never steered you wrong. Ever.

Hmmm....buy the pack. But wait! There's more! With every pay check, go to the alter and buy 2,3,5 - however many you "need" ;)

Buy the pack and then customize it at the alter. I'm sure you will need a LARGE range of color in order to recap EE and all of it's goodness.
