Update...

So... there's a chance my mom may move to Atlanta with us.  She found out her teaching job is being cut the day after I found out my job is being cut.  UGH!!!!!!!!  So, everything's up in the air at the moment.  Just wanted to update.

And in a totally unrelated note - this ceiling fan has plaid on it - see that???

I can see both GOOD and BAD in that. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity for you both. {HUG} my friend and {HUG} for your Mom as well.

I am concerned you are spending too much time staring at the ceiling...:)

Sometimes it seems like when it rains, it pours, huh?

I love that you are capable of seeing the plaid in everything.

P.S. This is my favorite Rich Mullins song. True story.

"You have been King of my glory...won't you be my Prince of Peace..."
Brilliant.

Yikes! May you see the Lord's fingerprints all over this time of transition, Lizzy! Praying to that end...

I didn't even know glass could be plaid.

You KNOW that God has a plan for you. Just sucks that he can't be more obvious about it.

Or maybe he is being obvious, and he is leading you to Atlanta right as we speak.

Praying for you and your family, Lizzy. Uncertainty sucks.

I saw the pic of the fan and was looking for a "the shit is hitting the fan" caption. But, I see the plaid instead. LOL

I love that plaid fan. And that it sealed the deal for ya. So...have you talked to your mom some more??

My crystal glasses are a plaid design. The name of it is Ralph Lauren plaid.

I pray God opens doors and that you can see clearly His will for your family.

I'm sorry that your jobs are being cut, but wouldn't it be nice to have your mom nearby? I don't know if you two are close, but if so, it could end up as a blessing :)

When you have a totally unrelated note, you really have a totally unrelated note.

Here you've been coming to my blog to support me in my school closing...losing my job business and your mom is going through the same thing!! That being said...many of the teachers at my school (well 3 to be exact) were offered jobs in Atlanta and they will be making much more than they are making in Florida...I say go for it!
