So... first off I'm out of white paper, so... prepare to wake up.
The guys are singing two songs tonight - a Judges pick and a pick of their own. Tonight I decided to do some closeups... because... well... there are only so many ways to draw a stick figure.
First up was Danny with Dance Little Sister. He danced like he dances and sang like he sang. I didn't think it was his best performance... the judges seemed to think it was all that and a bag of glasses....
Kris did Apologize. I wish he hadn't gotten into that falsetto range, but other than that I liked it. The judges thought it was good but wished he had done his "thing" to do.

BUT of course the judges loved him and fawned over him and had spontenous reactions....
So now we have the guys picks. Danny picked You Are So Beautiful.... and sang it tenderly and nicely just like it should be, but nothing amazing. If you ask me. The judges went ga-ga... blah blah.
Kris sang Heartless and started out a capella and it was SPOT ON... then it was just him and his guitar and I'm telling you, he has more musical talent than the other two put together. No, he doesn't have the squeely range, but he's got musical SKILLS.... it was a GREAT version of the song and the judges thought he rocked.

Adam, of course, get's the diva spot AGAIN.... SERIOUSLY... do they have to do this? We all know he's going to win, can we throw SOME kind of bone to someone else??? He sang Crying and again, didn't stray far from the original. Of course he screetched and of course the judges called it a forgone conclusion that he'll be around next week.
So... tomorrow night. Who will it be? Adam and???

It's hard to say who will be in the final 2. I love Danny and Kris equally and I adore Adam, his voice is just THERE for me. I will go with Danny and Adam, final two.

I thought Adam's first song was horrid. And I cannot stand the fawning he gets. I think that Kris is really underrated. What he did with that Kanye West song was amazing. I am sure that you don't listen to that kind of music...but you need to go to napster or itunes or something and listen to that and see how much it has changed. Honestly...I don't care where it goes now...because all three of them are pretty amazing and will have record deals no matter what.
I want Adam to lose, to prove the judges wrong... I am just not of fan of him or his screaching, nor his look, nor his wordrobe, nor his spotlight, nor his rock...
Soo for me, I voted Danny and Kris.. with Kris for the win!

Okay I am watching it right now and they just got done with the first round. Everybody knows Adam's gonna take it!
Actually I've been a Danny fan all along but Kris has really won me over with his musicality thing. So I'm picking Adam and Kris. I'm a die-hard rocker so I've enjoyed Adam's rockiness but not the screech and sticking that tongue out stuff. My oldest said he really needs to be doing KISS, right on! Allison was my pick!
Kris and Adam, that's my pick. And we all know that the loser usually gets a better deal than the AI anyway, so everyone is a winner in this game.
Oh, I really hope Kris makes it! He's my favorite. And Adam...oh, boy... that screeching in every.single.song. Why?!?!
I'm digging the yellow paper. It reminds me of sunflowers, neon colors and spotlights blinding me.
I absolutely love what you did with Adam's close up!! Especially the tongue. Stan and I were commenting on how he uses it! Maybe that does not sound right, but he always seems to have it hanging out when he is singing.
I agree, it is a done deal. I would be amazed if anyone except Adam got the crown.

I thought they were all amazing. What a tough choice. I think the best thing to happen to Adam is to go home tonight. THen he is free to write his own ticket. (a la Daughtry).
funny thing - I was at the nail salon this morning and the vietnamese ladies were talking (*in vietnamese) and I couldn't understand what they were saying. Then one of them turned her face (mouth) sideways and the other stuck her tongue out. I KNEW they were talking about Idol. LOL!!!
I think it will be Kris and uggghhhh Adam in the finale. I like Danny, but he hasn't really impressed me lately. Adam and everything about Adam annoys me more than most anything on this earth!!! And, like you posted, the way the judges drool & fawn over him is just pathetic. To be perfectly honest, I'd vote for my neighbor's howling dog before I'd vote for Adam.
KRIS is my guy!! I love, love, LOVE me some Kris. Kris has talent; true, raw, pure talent. KRIS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
The "Heartless" drawing looks like there are jellyfish in there with him!
