The One Where I Educate

My Meebas - They come in a tube with a "game" on the front of it. The game is a little.. thing.. and you make sure it get's "fed" and is "happy" and it will start to grow. When it's grown completely, the top of the tube opens, and you can get your "Meeba" out... (Or your Neeba as Gert calls it)

Interesting. So...how long does it take to grow? What do you do with the game when your meeba is grown?

Thanks for explaining and I would also like to echo Kat's questions. So I can decide whether to let Miss Pink have one when she asks for it. (Sorry we are turning your blog into a My Meeba FAQ.)

The Ladies played with them quite a LOT for about 3 days and the top popped...

After it comes out, you can still play the games on the screen, it still functions as before, just the my meeba on the screen is now "big"

So, and I mean SO glad my girls have not seen these yet. I can't stand the digital pet. This thing would truly send me off the deep end.

Ahhhh....ok....thanks for explaining. I guess this helps to teach them about responsibility? Like, if your meeba doesn't grow....no puppy or kitty for you?

I'm overthinking this aren't I? :)

That is so cool. I have never heard of those!

SO COOL! I remember playing with tamagochi's and the other one. This is way better. You actually accomplish something at the 'end' and the critters are cute.

I have never heard of these things before. They are cute and could see where they are addicting and fun!

I've done been educated....I haven't heard of these...I'm surely not going to share with the girls (yet) we're still buried up to our eye balls with Webkinz!

Ok, I was wondering what these were, too! I'm sure it won't be too long before my girls are asking for one...

Wow - for some bizarre reason, my kids have not heard of these...or, if they have, they have not mentioned them. :) Glad The Ladies are enjoying them.

What cute little critters! Much nicer than the Furbies and what's the name of that electronic thing you had to feed all the time so it wouldn't die? AnyWho, I had to take that critter to the school where I teach, 'cause they were banned at my daughters' elementary school!

BTW, I've got 2 other things on my mind today. First off, don't forget Sx3 tomorrow...it's a stitch! And I've got a pretty good chance of snagging a superior blog award...thanking you in advance for your support!

Very interesting...I have never heard of these. I think it's cool that it took 3 days for it to come out. Made em work for it a bit. We are working on a chia pet over here....finally getting some gradafication!

I had to laugh because my teen and I looked EVERYWHERE for these little things. It would have helped had we had the name right. We were looking for my amoebas. LOL

Cute! My daughter had one similar when she was in kindergarten. It was called a giga pet. Same concept but you didn't get a little critter when it grew up.

The first one died, becaue you had to feed and clean it up a couple of times an hour. She went to school for half a day and when she came home, it was in heaven. Dang she cried and cried. After we reset it, I had to take it to work with me and it drove me crazy for days until it grew up. It pooped more than a newborn. We still have it around here somewhere.

Anything that I have to nourish, as if it's a real something or other, is automatically eliminated from Santa's List, although these do look kinda cute! BTW, I've got a Giveaway goin' on at my place...please drop by and put some POP! in your New Year!

I cannot believe these have escaped my little guy's radar. Maybe because he is currently obsessed with Bakugan!
