F4 & The Day

I haven't done this in a while, but I had to share these.

Last weekend Kat and her mom and I went and looked at some houses. 2 of them were really nice, one... was a dump. But that wasn't what I wanted to share with you. I wanted to share what I SAW in the houses:

This first one is for Rhea. To add to her collection....

And this gorgeous, and yet functional gal. Can you get her on Etsy? (Um... I went and looked and yes indeedy you can)

Now THIS.... well... can you tell what it is? Our Lord & Savior.. in.. shells.
Now this one was from the ickey house - tempting to say if they'll throw in Sea Life Jesus I might just take it....
*********************************************
It was pointed out to me that I didn't tell you about my Anniversary day with Mr. B. I got to see him Sunday night for quite a while. We had an incredible talk. I had found this INCREDIBLY sappy book at B&N that day on the bargain table... it's called "To the One Person I Consider to Be My Soul Mate" - Loving messages meant to be shared with a very special person. Now.. normally even I'M not this sappy, but I picked it up because Mr. B is wary of the word Soul Mate - it's just over used. I started thumbing through it and while sappy, each... message... was just SO Mr. B and I. So I got it, and shared some of the messages with him Sunday night.
Here's the one that hit me the most:
A Little Love Story
When I first knew you, the thought of having you in my life was one of the most wonderful things I could imagine.
To have gone from that moment in time to this moment when I'm happier than I ever thought any person could ever be, is all the proof I'll ever need... to know that miracles really do come true.
This is my love story.... about you.
I love you. So much. And so amazingly. Each day is like a new page that I get the privilege of turning over, with a new paragraph for the morning, a sweet entry for the afternoon, and a can't-wait-to-read romance that winds its way to the brightest stars anyone ever wished upon...
Ours is a story of two people, each with a journey in search of a distant horizon. Two souls whose paths were allowed to cross, whose words felt right at home, and whose smiles discovered that walking the way together could lead to a kind of happiness that only comes along once in a lifetime.
We were given a gift that many people search all their lives for and never manage to find. When I found you, I just knew how I wanted to fill the empty pages of my life.
I want to be with you.... and I want this love story to have a very happy ending... by never, ever ending at all.

Yeah... REALLY sappy... left both Mr. B and I in tears. Sunday night with him was just pure perfection.
Monday he and I went to IKEA. He'd never been there and it was fun to share it (and meatballs!) with him. We had lunch together and it was SO nice. Sitting and being together and sharing each other. *sigh*
After we left IKEA we headed to a park and just walked and talked. Each moment I get to spend with him just confirms in my mind that I was meant to be with him... that this is something so special and wonderful. And I remind myself daily that it's a special gift that not everyone is given.
Saying goodbye was torturous. I was doing fine - no tears - then he and I were goofing around and I hurt my thumb... which started the tears and they just did NOT want to stop. UGH!!!!
Now all THAT on top of a wonderful time with Kat - eating Mexican food, shopping, playing Wii, looking at houses... it was a FANTASTIC weekend!!!!!! I really can't wait to move down there and get to hang with Kat more. Maybe even make HER some food :)
So now we must have the questions.
Have you been to IKEA? Do you like meatballs?
Do you have any crocheted girls around your house covering things up?
Do you have any pictures of holy figures made out of interesting objects?
Have you ever made a PB&J sandwich and had the PB resemble a Holy Figure? I had one once resemble Oscar the Grouch but I ate it... no proof.

................Oh! Gosh, sorry. I got distracted by the flair that said "Edward's sparklin' ass". Lost in thought, you know?

WHO is Fiyero? Seriously, I must know.

Been to IKEA, didn't like it much. Meatballs though, I love. No crocheted girls coverin' nothin' up, no holy figures in interesting objects or PB, but we do all love Jesus, for all that.

Do not like Ikea. Feels like you are being herded through a huge maze. Have not eaten meatballs there. Have had a good lunch there though. No crocheted little things covering up anything in my house. No, none at all!! Reminds me of my grandma.
No apparitions in any of my food. Do not know how PBJ could resemble anything holy:)
Sorry you hurt your thumb and for all of the tears. Glad you got to spend time with Mr. B and Kat and that you had a great weekend.

I've never been to Ikea. Have big plans to go this summer with the John Deere Mom since we ran out of time last summer. Without the children.
Not a fan of the meatball.
No on the crotched girls, holy figures, or PB sandwiches.
No to everything this AM apparently. :/

I have been to IKEA and I love it! Its a fun store to go thru and so different! No, to all the other questions!LOL

Ahhh...Thanks for the Love Story! Now.......I REALLY liked Ikea the one and only time I've been there, but it's definitely a store to gaze thru, not one to get in and get out of!

Dont' care for meatballs, and no girlies around or *different* religious figurines!

LOVE Ikea! LOVE Meatballs!
NO TOILET PAPER Cover up Dolls in my world. HMMMM Should I get ONE? Are they making a comeback? I do want to belong...I am always on the outside....

OK and NO to all the other questions...

Glad you had a GREAT time with MR B. YOU deserve it! So did you look at houses for YOU? Are you getting closer to MOVING HERE? Have you taken your Ladies to the aquarium up there yet? All the things to do there and then all the little towns to visit and of course YOU must visit Savannah!

I love my Jesus, I love my shells...and how you kept from stealing that treasure is BEYOND me.

And I love you and your sappiness. 'Cause it's YOU--and you're happy. And that's what I like best.

Love the sappy stuff. And the house hunting finds - exquisite.

Never been to IKEA. Not sure how I've escaped that so far. But I'm a big fan of meatballs!

I'm a sucker for sappy love stories....
I'm so happy for you and Mr.B. So, so happy that you've found the "one".
I love Ikea.And meatballs.But I've never had "their" meatballs.
Don't care for the crocheted girls, but that's just me.

So sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed your time with Kat and, of course, Mr. B.

I have never been to Ikea... gotta drive 3 + hours to go the Atlanta store and I've not been that direction in quite some time. Meatballs are okay. Not my favorite but I've never been known as one to turn down food.

I do not have any of those girls around my house.... sorry.

Nor do I have holy figures of any kind... much less out of sea shells or peanut butter.

So, I have never recognized any holy beings in my food. I'm lame.

IKEA? Yes Meatballs? So-so Crochet gals? Nope Holy figures from unusual objects or peanut butter? Um, NO

I've been to IKEA once... thought it was cool. Never have eaten there, though.

No crocheted girls in my house.

And I've never had my PB resemble any figures... holy or otherwise!

We will be getting our very own IKEA here in CO soon! I can't wait!!

Not a big fan of meatballs or anything crocheted. LOL

Your move sounds so exciting and your time with Mr. B...perfect.

The shell Jesus...wow.

Believe it or not, I have never been to Ikea! The closest one is an hour away (in Dallas) and I do want to go; it just never happens.

I like meatballs. I remember older ladies who crocheted decorating their bathroooms with those dolls, but I don't own one or a holy figure. I must be unimaginative because my PB & J sandwiches always just look like sandwiches.

I love Ikea, we have one just down the road from us. No meatballs. Though I've heard they do a great breakfast. I can't say I've seen any religious figures in my sandwiches, but I'll keep looking.

PS - That was a beautiful story. Sap is alright in my book.

I love reading how sappy you are about Mr. B. It's too cute.

Been to IKEA once - we were rushed, so it wasn't as fun as I wanted it to be.

Don't eat meatballs...don't eat red meat.

No crocheted girls around but my grandma made some crocheted outfits for a baby doll for The Girl.

No pix of any Holy Figures...not even in food - I'm Jewish. :)

I LOVE IKEA!! Meatballs? No. But I will say that is because I don't eat beef. BUT! I do love that chocolate torte thing. OH. MY. LORD!

I have no crocheted girls. I will say that I HAD one that my great grandmother made for me. But, it, umm...had a date with a dumpster in college. Regret it now, but it's true.

Holy figures made out of interesting objects? No.

PB resemble a Holy Figure? Not that I'm aware of. However, should it happen, I'm OK with a little divine intervention.

By the way...the camp I worked at was Camp Lincoln & Camp Lake Hubert near Nisswa, MN. : )

I love going to Ikea, but their furniture breaks if you sit on it. But they have cool kitchen gadgets. I am so sorry to tell you I have never made or owned a crocheted doll, or seen Jesus in my PBJ.

Aren't those toilet paper doll covers from the 70's? Too funny.

Sounds like your weekend was excellent.

Oh, thank you so much for sharing some details of your weekend. You know we are living vicariously through you, don't you?

I love IKEA. We have one 30 minutes away. I love their cinnamon rolls. Just had a leftover one this morning...

No crocheted girls here.

Gabe has drawn some interesting "Jesus" pictures.

I can't believe you ate Oscar!
