The Days Ahead

Happy Friday Y'all!!! WOO HOO!!!

I just wanted to give you all a little heads up. FIRST of all, I'll be headed to Atlanta to hang with Kat, so I probably won't be posting much o'er the weekend.

SECOND of all... Monday is Mr. B's and my first anniversary, and guess what - I get to SPEND THE DAY WITH HIM!!!!! Yeah, I'm only a little excited.

AND Finally... Be sure to check back next week as I plan to honor/mock/copycat some of my favorite websites each day!!!!!

Now, just so we have something to talk about, here's some questions....

What are your plans for the weekend? Do your kids have school Monday? Do you have to work Monday? And this one Shannon doesn't have to answer cause I asked her on her blog, but I liked the question so much I'm going to ask you all. What article of clothing do you own that you would be too embarrassed to wear outside the house?

Loved all of your "new" names!

Weekend plans...hmmm...well, ex has most of the kids (I can hardly ever get the older ones to go...they want to "hang" with me...yippee), so I'm going to go see a movie...solo. Kids are out of school Monday, but I have to work, since it's a teacher work day and I watch teacher kids.....

Article of clothing....probably just about anything I wear LOL!

Happy, happy Anniversary...have fun (like I needed to tell you that.....)!

Sounds like your going to have a great long weekend!! No work/school for us on Monday but no plans either...I kinda like it that way :)

I don't know. I think that we should do live blogging about our weekend. We can update every 15 minutes while the world hangs to the edge of their seat to see what our next antics might be.

Or maybe the world is not quite ready for that.

No big weekend plans other than trying to make it to the grocery store! It's been so cold and blustery I haven't ventured out and the pantry is getting a bit bare.

The kids don't have school Monday (5 day weekend for them since school has been closed the past two days!) and DH doesn't have to work either. I will be taking my dad to the doctor though so we won't get to have much fun family time.

I probably shouldn't leave the house in anything I own if you listen to anyone "fashion minded". I go for comfort and workability in my clothes, not style by any stretch of the imagination :) But I can't think of anything I'd be embarrassed to be seen in. It's who I am, so people can either deal with it or not I guess :)

Have fun with Kat and Mr. B!
Yaya's too little for school.
I wouldn't leave the house in my current pjs. Volleyball t-shirt and men's flannel pants. SEXY SEXY!

Well Happy Anniversary, a few days early =-) Enjoy your day with Mr. B!

Well Saturday is my 22nd Birthday, so we're having a few friends over after the girls go to bed. Sunday I plan on sleeping in, and Monday we'll play by ear =-)

Hehe I have this seventies, zip up, quilted, bright neon green, pink, yellow and black housecoat thing. I bought it cause I thought it looked awesome. But in public? Heck no!

And my favorite red sweatshirt that is literally falling apart. My husband and mother have both decided to join together to turn it into rags. I would wear it in public, but they've forbid it =-)

OH my gosh! Your anniversary with Mr. B is on MY BIRTHDAY!!! Yes, Monday I will be 39, off of work, and kids have no school. This weekend we shall be working on a science report. Yuck.

I hope you have fun fun with MR B on Monday, I'll be thinking about ya :)

Hubs and kiddo off on Monday, but I have to work. I have these horrible huge blue flannel pj pants with reindeers all over them. They are SO ugly, but I love them! Have a great weekend. Looking forward to your blogs nextweek.

Have an awesome weekend and get Kat's daughter to make you some Pi.

Oh, yea! Do you have any special anniversary plans? haha!

1 - I'm so excited about this weekend! My husband and I, along with 9 of our friends, are going to Nashville this weekend to hit up the big city bars. I should get some good blog material out of that!

2 - No kids yet but I think our school system is out

3 - I still have to work. I would love a day off but since we were just gone for 2 weeks through Christmas and New Years I think I'd feel pretty guilty about not being at work.

4 - This is a hard one. I have some white snow boots that I have only worn once or twice but I always get a good laugh when I do (because we are in Alabama and people don't think I need snow boots but look whose laughing now that we have sub zero temperatures)!

No school today (too damn cold) and no school Monday (MLK). FOUR day weekend! woot woot! Addison will still have PT though. That kid never gets a break.
Weekend? Dunno. I don't think my hubby is coming home, so we'll just hang around here and play. Watch some movies. Target. Make brownies.
My favorite gray "yoga" aka wine pants have recently developed a tiny hole in the butt, thanks to the dog. I ought not wear those out. Trust me. But I love them so and cannot part with them yet.

And Kat? We're not ready for dual live blogging yet. The Earth is just not ready for that yet. But have a blast!
Happy anniversary to you and Mr. B!

I have a black sweatshirt that had a run in with some bleach on the sleeve... I'll wear it to the mailbox, but that's about it!

Plans, plans...

I might go into the office for a couple hours tomorrow. One of our cousins is turning 2 and her b-day party is tomorrow, at the dreaded Chuck-E-Cheese. Not sure if I'm brave enough to go.

Sounds like you have a great weekend planned. Have a fantastic day with Mr. B and Happy Anniversary!

Have a WONDERFUL weekend!! :)

What are your plans for the weekend? I really don't have any...The Husband has to work Sunday, so we'll see.

Do your kids have school Monday? nope - they are off Tuesday too.

Do you have to work Monday? nope but I do have to work Tuesday, despite the kids being out.

What article of clothing do you own that you would be too embarrassed to wear outside the house? I don't think anything - except maybe jammies...

Yeah you! Have fun Monday. My kids have been off for the extreme cold the last two days so they sure as heck better get their butts in school on Monday. I have like five episodes of Desperate Housewives of Orange County to catch up on. You know, priorities.

The one item I wouldn't wear out of my house would be the little princess crown/tiara that I bought my girls in Disney but like to throw on from time to time to make myself feel "pretty".

MMMM...haircut tomorrow, soccer game, I cleaned today because I took a much needed personal day, so that I won't have to do this weekend. No work Monday either....yeah! Maybe movies or park with friends...dinner with friends tonight. I will not wear my slippers out...oh so comfortable but not very fashionable...have a great weekend!!

No major plans for the weekend. My oldest has preschool on Monday. I have a MOMS Club Bookclub meeting on Monday morning. Bringing my one year old to that...

I have stretch pants that are so comfy, cozy, but are too tight! Would never wear them out.

4-day weekend--*w00t*! No plans yet, maybe a movie...seen any good ones yet?

Since I'm a jeans and sweatshirts kinda gal, nothing much embarrasses me. I'd say my Packer Jammie Pants when the Packers are as bad as they were last season...

Have a great weekend and happy anniversary! I am off Monday...but it won't be much of vacation, I'm planning on tackling laundry. I have these sweat pants that are stained on the bottom, but so comfy. I wouldn't wear them out. And my houseshoes...I have seen people go to the grocery in them. that's just lazy! Put on some dang shoes!!

Hubs and the Boy both have Monday off. I on the other hand have to work. I will be leaving a detailed 'honey-do' list. Let's see how much gets done.

Have a great anniversary weekend with Mr. B.
My kids were off today and Monday. (teacher work day today)

We're going to see the play Narnia tomorrow put on by the local Christian Youth Theatre.

My article of clothing is probably this old buttondown oxford skinny long sleeve shirt. It's definitely an 80's thing. NO ONE wears those these days.

Have a great time this weekend and Happy Anniversary!!
We are out of school on Monday, but not doing anything. We may clean out Reed's room, isn't that fun!!

I have a grey houserobe thingy that my sister gave me. It's warm and comfy, and my husband rolls his eyes everytime he sees it. So, I guess that would be embarrassing to wear outside of the house.

We have a 4-day weekend, so lots of fun in store! I spent way too much time (and a few dollars) at Marshall's this morning, so that's a start! Have a fun trip, and if you're near a computer, don't forget Sx3 tomorrow...we'll be in an Inaugural Kind of Mood!

Have fun with Kat! Sounds like a gerat way to spend a weekend! We are still recuperating from the dreaded stomach bug. But no school on Monday for me or for kids! Yay!

It is just Little Guy and I this weekend since Hubs and Big Guy are in Georgia on a winter retreat with our church. We are having so much fun together, but he is wearing me out with all his "fun" plans.

Probably any of my slippers! They are all so rugged but comfy!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Hope you had a nice visit with Kat. Are we going to see Lizzy illustrations?

No school or work for us Monday. Sleep in. Woohoo.

I've spent what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in the mountains with a child that has gotten up earlier each morning. Today = 5:30am. Yay. I'm so ready to go home so we can all sleep.

Hope you had a great weekend!

I didn't read blogs all weekend, but happy anniversary to you and Mr. B today!

I think my "do not wear" item would be my bamboo yoga pants that have a saggy butt. My husband recently told me that Stacy and Clinton would get all over me for wearing them outside the house. So I stopped.

WheresMyAngels said...

I almost had half a day off today (meaning I just would have my pager) but then of course someone called it so I worked 1pm to 9pm.

Tank tops, I wear them around the house but never in public unless they are under a shirt.

Hope you had a good time.

Teri said...

Sounds like you had a great weekend planned. We hung around and ate a bunch of great food that my hubby prepared (as usual!).

When it is cold outside and in the house, I sometimes wear this really huge thick fuzzy red long coat that my mom sent me a couple of years ago. It is really warm but really really ugly. There's no way I would wear that out of the house.

My kids were off on Monday, but they were with their Dad.
The only thing I own that I don't wear in public is a bathing suit. LOL!
