My Dream House

So I shared yesterday that I've always dreamed of having a house with 2 staircases. I thought I'd share some more of my dreams...

I've always dreamed of holes in my porch where cute little squirrels can come and go as they please....

I've always dreamed of smashed windows poorly covered with plywood...

I've always hoped for a house that was previously owned by someone who decided to wire the WHOLE house all-by-himself, in the most confusing way possible...

It was always my secret desire to have a door that went absolutely nowhere... you know... so I could do that "Watch out, the first step is a doozy" kind of joke....

But my ONE biggest dream was to someday find that wonderful place where the vast majority of the driveway is missing....

Where... oh where... can a girl find a home that fits these simple dreams?

Kind of looks like the type of houses I lived in when I was a girl.

Lol! I'm always mystified by the door that goes nowhere!

Where on earth are you finding these pictures?!

Clearly, they are all in need of an extreme home makeover. Stat.

I think the door one is my favorite...

Hysterical. In a way that's probably not REALLY funny. I hope you're handy!

Oh Lizzy, you have such beautiful dreams :) And, of course, you have inspired me. I shall now require a spare door in my next home. I mean, seriously, put some mattresses down there and start jumping... it would be so much fun! ;)

Is this your house? I'm really clueless. Fill me in.

Squirrels are cute until they eat through those wires that were so intricately woven.

LOL!!! This is great stuff! The wiring probs I could do without, but everything else is just character. And that door....AWESOME!!! Growing up my neighbors had a door just like that(up on the second floor). It's a wonder no one died falling out of it, we LOVED opening it up. And just think, you could plant a field of clover right up to the garage. How pretty would that be?

It's satisfying when life comes together like that.

That door leading to nowhere is good, but I'm glad my mouth was empty because I snorted at the driveway...
Enjoy making it yours. Remember that home is where you make it.

That is one special house!

The random door is awesome. And a little creepy but mostly very cool...and story worthy for sure.
