Random.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I love lots of people. And lots of things. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Happy Valentine's Day to my new bamboo sheets. I love you sheets!!!
Oh - and also Valentines loving to:
Essie & Gert
Mr. B
My WONDERFUL Bloggy Friends
My family
The people on my facebook whom I have no idea who they are
My mailperson
The pizza delivery man who is at this moment running with fleet foot to deliver my lunch
The IT person who figured out how to transfer all our contacts in Outlook to our new systems
The many many many many people I'm going to pass on the roads tonight as I tour 4 of the
south-eastern states. Let's all play nice, mkay?
You know my little friend Gert? The one who's been sick? The one who EVERY TIME I TAKE HER TO SEE HER DAD, SHE MANAGES TO DAMAGE HER BODY IN SOME WAY 24 HOURS BEFORE SHE SEE'S HIM? Well, she did it again. She was walking backwards last night on the way out of school, all happy and peppy and excited and telling me about their class valentines party... and before I could even do a thing, she turn around and walked SMACK into the side of an open door, then fell and landed on the metal box that holds the magnet that keeps the door open. Bless her heart... she's got a big ol purple line down her cheek. And a bruised butt.
I think I've hit upon an idea for our new President. Check out Lizzy for President to see what you think.
Can I just do a little public shout-out here to Kat. Despite the CRAZINESS that is her life right now, she's letting me hang out in her wonderful guest room this weekend, so I can spend Valentine's with Mr. B. She's a pretty rockin friend to do that. I hope I can be of some help to her!
And also, keep Kori & Richard in your prayers. He's in the hospital now, and even though that means she gets to have lunch with him every day, she'd rather have him home.
And......... um..........
OH - I know!!! QUESTIONS!!!!
1. What inanimate object would you like to express some love to today?
2. Are you a clutz? Were you a clutz? What's the clutziest thing you've ever done?
3. Do you have a guest room. If someone showed up today, could you use it as a guest room? (Like.. my guest room if I had one probably would always have clean laundry waiting to be folded on the bed)
Smooshie, lovey Valentines Loving to you ALL!!!!!!

I hope you have a safe and fun weekend with Mr B.
1. What inanimate object would you like to express some love to today?
~~My computer for sure. it is where my friends all live.
Oh and my Wii too ;)
2. Are you a clutz? Were you a clutz?
~~Was and still am!
What's the clutziest thing you've ever done?
~~Slipped on a pat of butter and shattered my wrist. Oh and I fractured my skull 7 times before age 12.
3. Do you have a guest room. If someone showed up today, could you use it as a guest room? (Like.. my guest room if I had one probably would always have clean laundry waiting to be folded on the bed)
~~I do not have a guest room, but since KJ refuses to sleep in her bed and instead sleeps on her floor, I could easily let anyone sleep in her bed with no notice and she would happily sleep on the floor in her brithers room.
I am a complete clutz. I have walked into walls, doors, lampposts, you name it. I always have bruises, so Gert and I are two of a kind in that respect. Our guest room is reasonably ready for company. There are fresh sheets on the bed. We might have to do some minor tidying, but all in all, not bad. The rest of the house = complete disaster.
Oh yeah, and have fun with Mr. B!!!
Poor Gert!! I hope she's feeling okay...
Have a wonderful time with Mr. B!!
I would love to express love to my laptop..
I am a clutz. Totally. Always have been. The most recent clutziness resulted in a trip, which fast forwarded me into the front of the house, and landed me in the barkdust. Have you ever had slivers in your cheek and forhead? I have...
We do not have a guest room, but we do have an office. Someone would be happy to stay in that room. Leather sofa, desktop computer and TV with cable. Oh and the grandkids toys...
Have a great weekend. You and Mr.B should stay at Kat's place and let her go out (with Michael if he's up to it)...that would be a great gift for her.
Q's and A's: 1) my coffee bug and a pair of fuzzy slippers 2) I was the original clutz and one of my kids inherited the gene. 3) I have a guest room, it is a catch all of stuff.
I hope you have the best V-day ever with your Mr. B and of course we can't wait to hear all about it :)
I am a klutz, especially of the eating kind. I wear my food more than it gets in my mouth...sad.
I've had moments where I am just walking and fall. Not trip, just turn an ankle and fall. Very. Embarassing!
Happy Valentine's Day to you, Lizzy--although you are definitely not an inanimate object. "Computer" is a great answer, because what would I do without the bloggy love I get from my friends in the computer?
I am definitely a klutz. The worst was the time I broke my arm when I was a kid--I tripped over my own feet on the playground.
We have a futon in our new playroom specifically so we could use the room for guests. I didn't know they made a futon mattress that is as comfortable as a real mattress.
Happy Valentines Day to you too Lizzy!
Poor Gert! I've def. had my clutzy moments .. like the time I went to flip my hair over into the tub, and smacked my forehead onto the side .. then repeated the same mistake a few months later.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
That's funny ... I have some unknown facebook people too. How does this happen?
I would like to express my undying love for my pillow. It does not judge, accepts me whether my hair is wet or dirty or just not pretty, and it cradles me and whispers sweet nothings in my ear. It's a special bond.
I have been known to walk into a few doors, open or closed. And I trip over my own feet usually on a daily basis. And to think, I used to be a gymnast. Not a good one obviously.
I'm in the guest room ... aka the family room. Pull out couch. That's as good as it gets. 3 kids, 2 bedrooms, you do the math.
Sending heart shaped hugs your way!
Hope you have a great V-Day with MR. B.
Have a super weekend!!!!!!!!!!!
- Jennifer
Have a great Valentine's Day weekend.
I would have to express my undying love to my digital camera. It preserves all my memories since I am getting too old to remember anything anymore.
I am a horrible clutz on the stairs. I fall UP them every single day. I hold on for dear life so that I don't fall down them (again).
I have a nice guest room because two of the kids have moved out. But I don't ever have guests because all my pals live close by.
Good idea on the Cabinet positions! Randomness might just work best...and as far as being a Klutz in Koncerned, yes, I've had my share of Klutzy Okkurences. The worst was during a roller skating expedition. Not being so fleet of skate (as opposed to fleet of foot?), I used to use the walls of the rink to stop. While coming in for a landing one evening during college, I did judge my speed very well, and bumped the outside of the rink pretty hard. There just happened to be a rusty nail sticking out of a board. Said nail made contact with my shin. I had to go to the hospital for that one, for sure!
Guest room, ha! have you seen my children. I have way more children than rooms in my house.. Don't worry, in my next life, they each will have their own room, and a guest room.
I am clutz, always have been. Always will be.
My computer of course..
I know they are out of order.. but I don't follow orders very well, maybe that is why I am a clutz!!!
Guest room? I am sitting on it... my couch!
I am a major clutz. I can't walk and chew gum at the same time. Shoot! I can't chew gum without biting my tongue.
Love for an object. Hmmm.... definitely my computer because it is keeping my lap warm right now.
I'm only a little cluzty. My left hip and my right arm usually have a bruise from ricocheting through a door way.
I don't love any one today- let alone an inanimate object.
IF i had a room that didn't have children sleeping in it, it would so be yours.
Um, no guest room for me. But both Elijah and Isabel have bunkbeds, so one could always sleep there, or on the pullout bed in the living room...
I love my computer. Without it, I would never have met you!
I'm not really a clutz, but I'm not quite graceful either. Poor Gert. Hope she's feeling better, flu, bruises and all...
Have a GREAT time with Mr. B. I'm sure you will. Give Kat some love from us, wouldya?
1. Yeah, that's gotta be my computer. It's what keeps me in contact with other adults (at least, ones that I'm not married to) and therefore sane.
2. Definitely a klutz. Klutziest move? I don't know, how about the one that resulted in me being in a wheelchair for six weeks? LOL.
3. No guest room here, and if you value your life *at all* you will give me plenty of notice before you grace my doorway so I can pick up.
I just wanted to wish you a great day with Mr. B!
Hope you and Mr B have a GREAT Valentine's Day together!!
I used to have a guest room but that was before my mom moved in:-(
Hi Lizzy! Just hoppin' over here to greet you Happy Valentines day too. I'm sure you'll have a blast tomorrow :)
hugs!
Poor Gert! Have a happy and safe trip this weekend!
Actually, I have three rooms. None of them have laundry piled in them and all of the beds are made. Room for all of you and only 18 miles to Gina's.
Have a fun weekend.
Gina told me that Kat has posted, but I have not had time to go read it. Guess I should while I am thinking about it.
Happy Valentine's Day Lizzie (you're not my inatimate object though ;) ). Hope your time with Mr. B is awesome.
Happy Valentine's Day to my keyboard - it gets more action than I do.
I'm not generally a clutz, except for the time I fell down the stairs in front of the entire 9th grade cafeteria and everyone clapped. Thankyouverymuch.
Nope - no guest room - We have 3 bedrooms: ours, Claire's, Maddie's. Claire gets the boot to the couch when we have guests. She loves it because she gets to sleep on the pullout couch :)
We use my oldest son's room as a guest room. And, yes, it might require some sheet washing and throwing objects in the closet, but we could do it in an hour or two...
I'm a total clutz. I've fallen off the stage during our 8th grade presentation of Bye Bye Birdie, tore of my leg. I've run through a glass door, severing three and a half tendons in my hand, requiring surgery and major healing and therapy. I've fallen down stairs...and just fallen walking around.
Bamboo sheets sound intriguing.
Kat's awesome to let you stay with her. I miss Kat.
I am an enormous clutz. Who hasn't seen me trip and fall? Enjoy your Valentine's Day!
I hope you and Mr. B are having a very romantic dinner right about now...
Yes, I am a klutz. Need I remind you of the story of me tripping over my own daughter and ripping her hair out with my shoe?
You've got some great friends! But then, you are a GREAT person! ;)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope you and Kat have a nice visit and you and Mr. B have a nicer visit. Happy V Day.
Inanimate object would have to be my down comforter.
Yes I am a total clutz. I once fell down a hill while wearing a bass drum.
Um, I have a guest room and if they don't need sheets, sure :)
For some reason, I thought I had already read this post. Sigh. I'm about to go read about your romantical V-day, but answers to your questions first.
1. I'm in love with my DVR. Best.thing.ever!
2. I tend to be a clutz in really embarrasing situations. You know, to add insult to injury in most cases.
3. I do not have a guest room (unless you count my living room which many of Jake's friends have used to crash on our couch).
