Thank you for counting and letters and laughter and tears and happy and grumpy and silly and aggravated (that poor blue bald guy who had to deal with Grover).
Thank you for the best memories of Childhood!

(Seriously... I could have posted about a million of these on here... but I managed to stop myself. There are a small sampling of my FAVORITE Sesame Street Bits)

I think my favorite was when John John was all "grown up," they had him come back to count with Grover again. Priceless! How old is the Old Gal, anyway? Could it be 30 years? Or more? Unbelieveable!
Wow. That is a lot of Sesame Street. I love this show and now I love that I can share it with my kids.
My favorite Sesame Street memories are from when I was an adult...and watched it with "my" kids when I was a nanny. Like seeing REM singing Happy Scary Monsters. Or do you remember Bo Jackson and the Nike campaign he did "Bo knows...?" He was on Sesame street and climbed up a slide..."Bo knows UP." Then he slid down..."Bo knows DOWN!" Sesame street is such an amazing show!
Grover was (and is) my favorite.
And the pinball cartoon is da bomb.
I saved up my money and bought the single of "Rubber Ducky" and pretty much played it to death. In high school I went on a date with a guy who took me to The Muppet Movie. Pretty fun date, but unfortunately, I just didn't like the guy that much.
AMAZING revolution in children's programming!! Thank you Jim Henson and the SS people!
Oh I ADORED the twittlebugs!! Love Sesame Street. And now I will be singing Lady Bug Picnic all night!
The Ladybug picnic and the King and his Seven Sons are my favorites. Dominic LOVES the pinball song.
Oh the memories. They don't make it like they used to...
The Count was always my favorite. Even as a small child, I had a strange fascination with vampires. Or maybe he's the one that started it all. Chicken and the egg.
Those are all fantastic - especially the pinball video...love it! Have you seen "Christmas Even on Sesame Street"? It was done about 1979 and it is fantabulous. You really must get it. We have it and I watch it every year along with Rudolph, Frosty, and Christmas Vacation. You can find it on DVD on Amazon for pretty cheap and I think you and the Ladies would love it.
Pardon my spelling mistake above. I meant to write "Christmas EVE on Sesame Street".
I remember watching Sesame Street some but no real childhood memories stick out. MY love For Sesame Street is due to the fact of seeing HOW MUCH MY BOYS LOVED IT. That for me will always now be my favorite memories!
ALL OF IT - that's what is my favorite!!
We still watch it to this day!
I had a Sesame Street album (double album set ) with a songbook in the middle . My favorite song was "Nearly Missed that Raibow" ....
One of my faves is the Bert and Ernie, "Here, Fishy-fishy-FISHY!" I LOVE that skit. So much fun and I laugh so hard every time!
