I'm prepared to handle the jealousy you feel right now.
Who is your favorite author? - That's always hard for me. I'm not really a loyal author follower. 9 times out of 10 I can't even tell you who wrote the books I like. There are some Christian authors that I've enjoyed over the years - Janette Oke (way back in the day), Karen Kingsbury, Terri Blackstock, Lori Wick. Then of course someone like Jane Austen. But my two all-time favorite books were written by Judith Viorst and Fred Gwynne.
Do you collect anything? If so, what? - So interesting a question to ask since that's been a central discussion lately between me and Mr. B. He has an... um... EXTENSIVE collection of Star Wars and Star Trek stuff, and an EXTENSIVE collection of stuff relating to NASA. But for me. I collect spoons, mugs and snowmen.
What is your favorite vacation destination? - Oh there's a million choices, but if I were to say where I would like to go, RIGHT NOW...I would say I'd like to go to Banff and Jasper... rent a cabin and just relax.
What season is your favorite? What is it about that season that you like best? - Fall fall fall fall fall.... the smells of fall - cinnamon and soup and falling leaves and candles and pumpkin.

I find it so hard to buy stuff for myself now that I have a LO. But if I HAD to? Probably shoes! Or a new purse..actually 500$ would get me both!

People who lie!
3. Would you rather dust or vacuum? Why? Vacuum. I sneeze too much after dusting!
4. Did you have a pet growing up? Yes What was it? Dog Name? Mugzy Funny or favorite story about it? Sadly he passed away after 5 years, so only good memories but not real stories. He was my dog from age 1 to age 5.

I think it depends on the opinion and whether they are any facts behind it. If it is something near and dear to me? You bet I speak up. Otherwise I just let them have their opinion.

8. What's one "talent" you don't have but you wish you did? Wish I was musically talented. You know the type that can pick up an instrument and just play? Yep, wish that was me.

when 2 different lightswitches control the same light, thus rendering one in the "on" position when the light is off. Ugh.
3. Would you rather dust or vacuum? Why?
I was going to say dust because vacumming sucks (hahaha I'm so funny), but I actually like vacuuming. I like seeing the lines in the carpet and no dog hair on the floor.
4. Did you have a pet growing up? What was it? Name? Funny or favorite story about it?
A couple, but my dog Queenie was seriously the mayor. Our neighbor used to make scrambled eggs for her. We could barely afford eggs - but our dog got them from the neighbor. Hmmmmm.

any sort of chocolate dipped in peanut butter while watching grey's anatomy reruns.

Depending on the relationship I have with the people. If it's a heated topic and I'll never be able to have a healthy debate, sometimes it's not worth my breath.

Um, not shoes or pants. Tops, sure. and definitely thongs.

I'd like to put lipstick on like Claire in Sixteen Candles. However, in all seriousness, I wish I could play the piano.

1. If someone gave you $500 and said you had to spend it on yourself, what would you get? Well, my hubby does this every year at tax time, heh. I get clothes, books, DVDs, CDs.
2. What's one of your pet peeves? Smart@ss kids. I cannot STAND IT when somebody's kid smarts off to me.
3. Would you rather dust or vacuum? Why? Vacuum, because you don't have to move as much junk around.
4. Did you have a pet growing up? What was it? Name? Funny or favorite story about it? Oh we always had at least one dog running around outside, and a dozen or so cats roaming around. One of the many joys of living in the country, heh.
5. Favorite guilty pleasure? Putting in a load of laundry to wash and then going back to bed after the kids are on the bus, and sleeping till 11 am or so.
6. When people in a group express an opinion you don't agree with, do you speak up or just keep quiet. Do you wish you reacted differently? Depends on the group, on the topic, etc. I rarely wish I had reacted differently.
7. Should white be worn after labor day? I rarely care about the color of what anyone is wearing, so I say knock yourself out.
8. What's one "talent" you don't have but you wish you did? I wish I could paint/draw. I have sooooo many really cool paintings in my head, and can't do a dang thing with them.
