On Wednesdays, Mr. B and I have lunch together. We pick someplace we like to eat, and just spent a nice hour together.
Today we needed to go to Home Depot to look at sinks, so I suggested he grab a couple sandwiches at Roly Poly and we'd just eat them in the car on the way to Home Depot.
He picked me up at 12:30 - we sat in the Home Depot finishing our wrap sandwiches (seriously - if you have a Roly Poly near you and you haven't tried it out, you're missing something wonderful!!) We wandered through HD, found a sink, looked at lights, looked at bathroom cabinets. It was time to go back to work.
As we were walking out of HD, I asked if we could stop at QuikTrip because I needed just a little chocolate. I'm used to my afternoon pudding snack and since we had eaten out, I needed something to fill that spot. Mr. B got this sad look on his face and immediately said "Oh... I'm sorry. I know you love your pudding." I just laughed and said "If I have to pick between pudding and you, I'm going to pick you every time!" He said he knew, but he was sad I didn't have my pudding.
We continued towards the car, Mr. B being quite quiet and with a bit of a sad face. I asked what was wrong. He said he was a bit wistful, and I asked about what. He said he wished he'd brought pudding. I said "Oh my goodness, it's not that big a deal, I'd much rather spend time with you, and of course you wouldn't think to bring pudding because we were going out to lunch and that would be that." He said he knew but he was still sorry.
By then we were at the car. He opened my door for me (as he always does) and then went behind the car to his side. He stopped at the trunk and opened it - I figured he was just checking to see if it were locked. He shut it and came to his door and got in and handed me...

My pudding!!! He'd put one in a little cooler in the back of the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He TOTALLY played me... and even worse, I gave him the BEST set up ever.
I love that guy.

Awwwwww, thanks for my warm fuzzies of the day! :-)
Aww what a little sweetie pie! He was thinking about you after all!!!
You are totally blessed. Eric does stuff like that every so often. I think I probably take it for granted and I need to go tell him how much I appreciate his thoughtfulness. Some guys don't even think to do stuff like that. We got some of the good ones.
OH MY HOLY HECK!
My husband can't even remember where he left his wallet or car keys half the time. Forget about remembering something so "unimmportant" for me. (But I love him anyway!)
BIIIIIIIG points for Mr. B.
